The parking of campervans and converted trucks is forbidden on the resort by municipal decree, so 1 zone is available:

-A parking area specially reserved for motorhomes with VASP (Véhicules Automoteurs Spécialisés) registration is located at Plagne Villages. This area is equipped with electricity, drinking water and wastewater at a cost of €12.

Registration

SUPER8 registration opens soon!

For all timed and classified events, a medical certificate stating that you are not contraindicated to mountain biking in competition, or a valid license, is required to validate your entry. You can download a blank version here.

For all untimed and timed but unclassified leisure events, a medical certificate is not required. It is advisable to be in good physical condition and to be aware of the effort required when mountain biking.

Required equipment for races

You will find the list of compulsory equipment specific to each race in the “regulations” tab of each race.

  Double8 / Simple8

🔴 Required equipment

  • 2 batteries (if you have a single battery, the Simple8 is an opportunity to test yourself on a similar format)
  • Approved conventional or full-face helmet
  • Gloves
  • Charged and switched-on cell phone to alert emergency services
  • Repair kit
  • Survival blanket
  • Windbreaker
  • Whistle
  •  VTTAE specificities
    Competitors taking part in the Double8 on a VTTAE must ensure that their bike complies with the following rules:
    • 250 w motor
    • Electric assistance only when pedaling
    • Assistance limited to 25 km/h (+or- 5%)
    • Battery extenders or range extenders are forbidden.

  • Food reserve (energy bars or dried fruit, etc.)

  Super Kids Enduro  

🔴 Required equipment

  • Bike
    Participants must use the same bike throughout the event (liaison and special stages).
    The following bikes are accepted for Challenge Enduro Kid events: MTB 20 inches / MTB 24 inches / MTB 26 inches / MTB 27.5 inches, 27.5+ / MTB 29 inches, 29+.

  • Full-face helmet mandatory (helmets with removable chin straps accepted provided they are CE-approved)

  • Long gloves mandatory

  • Long jersey compulsory

  • Mandatory back protector (CE standard)

  • Knee pads mandatory

SUPER8 for children

Children also have their place at SUPER8. Since 2023, there have been 3 races/events dedicated to tomorrow’s champions.

  • Super Kids Enduro – Competition – ages 9-14
  • Super Kids MTB – Discovery race – 5-12 years
  • Super Kids Draisienne – Discovery – 2-4 years

Live tracking and results

 Live Tracking

Live tracking is available for each SUPER8 runner. It keeps track of each rider’s passage through key points (feed stations, checkpoints, etc.) and provides an estimated time of arrival.

The Link will be made public the week before the event on the SUPER8 event homepage and on social networks.

The Randonnées Découverte, the Super Kids Draisienne and the Simple8 are unclassified leisure formats.

SUPER8 volunteer

How to become a SUPER8 volunteer

Open to all, volunteer registrations are available online. Come and contribute to the SUPER8 atmosphere, and enjoy a unique experience combining sport, mountains and sharing.

From refreshment stations to time trials, from number collection to battery changes, and from course marking to course clearing, there are plenty of positions available to help organize SUPER8.

You can register as a volunteer for the SUPER8 in La Plagne directly on the website in the “Practical info” menu, then in “Volunteer registration”.

How to become a volunteer

All you have to do is fill in an application form, and you’ll receive an e-mail confirming that your application has been accepted. The organization will get back to you to confirm your application and inform you of the next steps in your journey.

Cancellation and refund policy

  Cancellation insurance

At the end of your online registration, we offer you the option of taking out cancellation insurance in the event of unforeseen and/or accidental impossibility of taking part in the event. Simply return to your runner’s area and request reimbursement. You’ll be reimbursed automatically in the days following the event, without having to provide any proof!

The Participant Cancellation Insurance option is only available on the basket summary page at the time of registration (insurance cannot be taken out after the event). As a reminder, insurance is not transferred in the event of a change of competition, nor in the event of transfer of registration to another participant.

Fallback courses have been devised in the event of bad weather, so no race should be cancelled.

Refund conditions for the participant :

  • 80% of the registration fee
  • Covers all causes, without proof, including Covid-19 infection
  • Withdrawal of insurance possible up to the day before bib collection
  • Refund within 72 hours
  • Available worldwide
  • No minimum insurance premium (% only)
  • Valid for entries between €1 and €400080% of the entry fee
