Rando Sunset

    The Sunset Hike, at dusk!

The Rando Sunset is a unique way to discover the natural landscape of La Plagne in the light of the last rays of sunshine, on Friday, July 11, 2025 at 6:00 pm.

A leisurely mountain bike ride (with or without electric assistance) supervised by a state-certified instructor who will take you to a panoramic viewpoint to admire the sunset over the Tarentaise peaks, while enjoying a small local snack.

Whether solo, with family or friends, you’ll set off from Plagne Bellecôte on a 19 km trail with 630 M+, accessible to all levels. By mountain bike or ATV, depending on your preference and fitness level, for a unique experience in discovering nature in a different way.

The return journey is by night, by headlamp, for a new experience in night mountain biking. A surprise awaits you on the way down for unforgettable memories… but we won’t tell you more!

Required equipment

• Headlamp
• Approved conventional or full-face helmet
• Charged and switched-on cell phone to alert emergency services

Recommended materials

• Minimum water supply (0.5L)
• Food reserve (energy bars or dried fruit…)
• Gloves
• Knee pads

Each competitor must bring a collapsible reusable cup, as there are no disposable cups at the refreshment points, in order to limit waste.
